Welcome home .
Dearest souls, My name is Shalini Pillai. You are welcome here.
I’m so grateful that our paths have crossed.
Thanks to Amma , Divine Mother for connecting us here.
I believe there is a quiet intelligence woven through all of life, one that lives within the body, whispers through the breath, moves through the seasons, and calls us back to ourselves again and again. In a world that asks us to constantly strive, perform, and become, my work is an invitation to soften, to listen, and to remember while we connect , create , recieve and move remembering the all pervading consciousness .
Through this space ,The Cosmic Loom, I weave together my experience , studies , research , channelling and expertise through yoga, meditation, somatic healing, breathwork, sound, ritual, philosophy, and creative expression into experiences that honour the whole of who we are.
Each offering is a gentle doorway into invitation of a deeper presence a space where the nervous system can settle, emotions can be met with compassion, and the body can begin to unfold its own innate wisdom.
For over eight years, I have held space for individuals and communities through yoga, meditation, Yoga Nidra, and embodied practices. Alongside this, my path as a multidisciplinary artist has taught me that creativity is not simply about making something beautiful,it is a sacred language of transformation. Whether we meditate, move, breathe, paint, or sit in stillness, we are engaging in the timeless practice of remembering our true nature.
My teachings are rooted in the timeless wisdom of yoga and contemplative traditions, while being deeply informed by an understanding of the nervous system, trauma-sensitive practice, and the body’s remarkable capacity to heal when it feels safe enough to do so. I am endlessly inspired by Tantra, the Divine Feminine, nature’s rhythms, symbolism, mythology, and the quiet spaces where spirit meets everyday life.
I do not believe healing is about fixing what is broken and the path is never linear . It’s an infinite spiral of interconnected wisdom and integrated practice.
I believe it is about gently returning to the parts of ourselves that have been forgotten, silenced, or left behind. It is about cultivating a relationship with ourselves that is rooted in presence rather than perfection, curiosity rather than judgement, and love rather than fear.
Whether you join me for a yoga practice, a meditation, a healing circle, an art immersion, or simply pause to read these words, my hope is that you leave feeling a little more connected,to your body, your breath, your intuition, and the vast intelligence that has always been guiding you home.
May this be a space where you can remember that you were never separate from your wholeness.
You have always belonged.
